thoughts of the gerber daisee

And remember, "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways- Chardonnay in one hand-chocolate in the other- body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming- "WHOO-HOO, What a Ride!"

bizarre day

today at work i get a call from the police chief. i have to do a level 1 lock down . there has been a bank robbery a 1/2 a mile away, on the same street as school. the guy has a gun and has fled through the field that backs up to us, on foot. I kept everyone in doors and did not let anyone leave.
The sad part is, I wasn't phased by this at all.

I also participated, and led a brother and sister , to our state childprotection agency,. hey were to be taken away from their drug addicted, homeless, slut mother. and it felt good. Good to know that these kids will be safe, good to know that this mother now can not hurt these kids, well at least, physically anymore.
It felt awful holding them in my lap and crying with them, telling them their mother really did love them and was trying her best, ( I lied).
Bad parents need to be locked up!!!!!!!!!

i have to believe there is a God!

and if there is, does he serve a nice chardonnay?
